Terms of ServicePf Membership
Thank you for choosing to be a PF Member. There are a number of terms to consider before completing the sale of a membership. The terms are as follows:
1. Services are not medical advice
The advice you receive from Parenting Foundations or on this site is for informational purposes only and is intended behaviour information only. The advice is not intended to be a substitute for medical advice or treatment. Always seek the advice of your doctor or other qualified health practitioner regarding any matters that may require medical attention or diagnosis, and before following the advice and using the techniques described in The PF Members area. Reliance on any information provided by Parenting Foundations is solely at your own risk.
You should never delay seeking medical advice for your children or disregard medical advice or discontinue medical treatment because of information contained on this site.
2. Exclusion/Limitation of Liability
The liability of the Personal Sleep Consultant/Parent Advisor and Parenting Foundations, a Division of McSween Consulting Limited, is strictly limited to the fees paid for the Membership or any additional fee incurred with add on packages. Further, neither the Personal Sleep Consultant/Parent Advisor and Parenting Foundations, a Division of McSween Consulting Limited, shall be liable for any other losses or damages of any kind regardless of cause, in law or equity, even if foreseeable, under any law, legal theory or legislation, including, without limitation, for incidental, direct, indirect, speculative, punitive, exemplary, special, reliance, compensatory or consequential damages or damages related to business interruption, lost revenue, lost profit and opportunity, delays or cancellations caused by technology failure, third party acts, acts of God or other events beyond their control.
3. Return of Fees
Once a member has purchased a monthly package there will be no return of funds as the information is accessible at that time. You are free to upgrade or downgrade a membership at any time to receive the services you desire. You can cancel your membership at any time but there will be no refund if there is time remaining on the monthly subscription.
4. Access to written material
All 3 levels of membership will have access to the information written on posts and on pages.
The All Access Members and All Access Members with Call in will have open access to the forums.
The forums are a safe place for people to ask questions or discuss concerns they have about their own parenting or child’s sleep. This is not a place for negative remarks towards others. A safe caring community is what will be tolerated. If any participant cannot adhere to make safe and caring comments he/she will be asked to reduce their membership to the Exclusive Information Package. If he/she refuses to go to the reduced membership he/she will be removed from the forum with no reimbursement of the fees he/she incurred.
6. Private Messaging Brenda at Parenting Foundations
The All Access Members and All Access Members with Call in will have the ability to private message Brenda with their questions. Brenda will return your messages in 24 to 36 hours. Brenda will have dedicated office hours 6 days of week (Saturday is our sacred Family Day). Typically her office hours will be from 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm. There will be occasional evening hours as well.
7. Sharing information with others
The information available to PF Members is copyrighted and restricted to paying members. Please do not share the information with others. Please do not share your password and account information with others. It would be greatly appreciated if you would encourage your friends and family to become members as well.
Email addresses gathered in this site will not be sold or given to anyone else. The sole purpose of gathering e-mails is to share information with you. If you want to stop receiving emails at anytime please click the unsubscribe button located on each e-mail your receive from Parenting Foundations.
Information gathered with your membership will not be shared with others unless there is a safety concern for you are your child(ren).
9. Monthly Call In
The All Access plus Call In Members will have the opportunity to participate in a monthly call. The call will information will be made available in advance and all members of this level will be given access to the call information. If you are unable to make the call you are welcome to send an email or private message Brenda with your questions which will be answered on the call. The call will be recorded for you to listen to at your leisure.
These calls will be open discussions. No set agenda.
